American Paving Co. has been actively participating in the growth of Fresno and the Central San Joaquin Valley since 1958. In the early years American Paving established itself as the industry leader in the grading and paving associated with subdivision development. In recent years the company has focused on public works projects for a variety of public agencies.   American Paving has performed construction in every industry segment including residential, commercial, industrial, educational, municipal and highway.

During our first 35 years under the direction of founding president, John K. Shirin, our impeccable reputation was established and developed. In 1988 APC was acquired by Lyles Diversified, Inc. and as a result enjoys the benefits of being an integral part of a large and well-diversified parent company.
