No Neighborhood Left Behind Program

Location: Fresno, CA
Completion Date: 2009

Multiple Contracts

The No Neighborhood Left Behind initiative was an ambitious, 5-year program created by the City of Fresno to “invest in neighborhoods by constructing and repairing critical infrastructure in neighborhoods where little or none of its infrastructure currently exists.” Since 2006, we have successfully completed six individual contracts (Areas 29, 71, 84, 83, 53 and 12). These projects typically include removal and replacement of sidewalks, ADA compliant wheelchair ramps, drive and alley approaches, valley gutters and miscellaneous asphalt paving. Close coordination of these activities was enhanced by the fact that we self-perform all of the work. We have received countless “thank yous” for the manner in which we minimized disruption in the neighborhoods while still safely and aggressively advancing progress.
