The Packwood Creek Shopping Center was constructed over a 5-year period. APC broke ground on the 70-acre site December 9, 2002, and completed the last phase in October of 2007. Demolition on the project included two houses, portions of an existing box culvert bridge, several large Valley Oak trees, and portions of Mooney Boulevard (Hwy. 63). Construction included 263,000 cubic yards of mass earthwork; 82,300 tons of aggregate base; 45,100 tons of asphalt concrete; 20,200 lineal feet of curb and gutter; 30,000 lineal feet of curb; and 5,300 cubic yards of concrete flatwork/paving; addition of two travel lanes to Hwy. 63; expansion of a 7-chamber box culvert; storm drain system; sewer system; water system, and two traffic signals. The shopping center is anchored by Lowe’s, Target, and Costco stores, and features The Olive Garden and Mimi’s Café restaurants, as well as many other shops.Owner:
